Lyrics
THE PROBLEM
Sit down, shut your mouth now people
It’s clear we still have something to learn
Some folks are free, but they’re far from equal
Truth that you show little concern
How do you Justify the hate, pure evil
What’s it take to live with the shame?
Don’t make no difference if we shout it from the steeple
You’re just looking for someone else to blame
Oh yeah, its a pill to swallow
The kind of thing that sticks in your throat
Don’t turn away, you’ll remember this tomorrow
There are things that you should never unknow
Things will change
Not everyone will follow
Time to Face the demons you know
Now that everything is out, out on the table
We might just have to reap what we sow
Oh yay, you found a way to work the system
Can’t make out what’s left of your soul
All for you, no weighing on your conscience
Looks like some of us have different goals
Must say, I thought it would be different
Guess Humanity just got in the way
how do you tell someone that they are
the problem
When you know they’ll take their pride to the grave?
There’s a problem on the loose
But there’s something we’ve got to do
Everybody’s got to choose
To see the world in different views
This is not about you
